Day 1

Fly into Bozeman, MT, where we’ll meet you at 2 pm and drive to the outskirts of Yellowstone. Enjoy dinner together and then return to our comfy Best Western for a swim or hot-tub soak.

Day 2

Grab breakfast-to-go and join our wildlife safari through Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley. Our local guide will help us spot and learn about the abundant wildlife that makes this area famous -- including elk, moose, bison, pronghorn, bighorned sheep, fox, sheep, eagles, coyote, and wolves. After our safari, hike Mammoth Terrace’s boardwalks to see magnificent sculptures created by ice, hot springs and travertine terracing. End a great day with a casual Wyoming dinner together.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, board our private snow coach and journey into Yellowstone’s secluded interior. Along the way, spot wildlife and learn about life in this wintry wild west. When we arrive at the Snow Lodge, we’ll lunch together. Then, we’ll slide into snow shoes and take a short jaunt to watch Old Faithful put on her show. We’ll also check out the Visitor Center’s movies and exhibits. We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Snow Lodge.

Spot a napping moose, with her calf hidden nearby.
Day 4

Savor a hearty lodge breakfast and then strap on snowshoes for a guided morning tour of the area’s forests, backcountry and Firehole River. During afternoon free time, you can rent cross-country skis, take a nap, or curl up with a book next to a crackling fire. Enjoy dinner at the Snow Lodge.

Day 5

Breakfast at the Snow Lodge. Then grab your camera and snowshoes, and join us for a day-long exploration of the park’s interior. Our destination is the Yellowstone River’s Grand Canyon. This river is the park’s namesake. Its ?grand? canyon stretches 20 mile, and is up to 4,000 feet wide and 1,200 feet deep. We’ll drive to the best canyon views and then don our snowshoes for a pretty trek along its rim. Our drive to and from the canyon provides great opportunities to see and photograph wildlife. Lunch is included on this tour. We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Snow Lodge.

Day 6

After a yummy lodge breakfast, join us to snowshoe the upper geyser basin. We’ll peer deep into hot springs, gaze at spurting geysers, trek along the river, look for bison, and read tracks written in the snow. You can choose how to spend your final afternoon in this magical place; we can offer suggestions. Enjoy a last dinner at the Snow Lodge.
