Day 1

1 pm:Meet at Harrison State Park, ready for our terrific 3-mile hike.

1:15-3:15 pm: You’ll love this trek through 700-acre Harrington Beach State Park. Stroll a secluded mile-long stretch of Lake Michigan beach, bordered by a forest of white cedar and autumn-tinged poplar, maple, and oaks. Then circle a lovely 26-acre limestone quarry tucked into the forest, fed by springs and tiny waterfalls.

4 pm: Check into your lake-view room at Blue Harbor Lakeside Resort and Spa.

5:30 - 7 pm: Savor a delicious dinner while overlooking Lake Michigan from the Beacon, the hotel’s dining area.

After dinner: Cozy-up with a drink beside the lounge fireplace, join us for table games, be a kid again at the hotel’s water park, or tuck into bed early.

"It’s nice to meet so many ladies who love the outdoors like I do. Gives me faith in good people!" ~Sunflower

Day 2
Learn about ancient effigies
Native Americans built here.
Discover why Sheboygan is called the
"Malibu of the Midwest.”"
Find a quiet place to refresh your spirit
at Kohler-Andrea.

Breakfast: Beginning at 6:30, choose pastries, a breakfast sandwich, and your favorite Starbucks coffee at the grab-and-go Shoreline Café in the hotel lobby. Or enjoy the Beacon’s breakfast buffet in the hotel lobby, beginning at 7 am.

8:30 am: Leave for Sheboygan Indian Mound Park, just 15 minutes away. In this wooded setting 1,000 years ago, Native Americans created mounds in the shape of fawns, adult deer, panthers, cones, and linear formations. Learn the significance of these mysterious mounds, found mostly in southern Wisconsin. This 15-acre gem of a park also features Hartman Creek, beech trees, and signs describing native plants and how Native Americans used them.

10 am: Head to 988-acre Kohler-Andrea State Park, home to majestic sand dunes, Lake Michigan’s shimmering blue water, 2 miles of golden beach, and whispering pines. Cross rolling dunes on a boardwalk and then barefoot-it along the pristine beach on this two-mile hike. We’ll enjoy our trail lunch on the beach or at nearby picnic tables.

12:30 pm: Return to the hotel.

1:30-5:30 pm: Choose your free-time fun: Linger at Kohler- Andrea’s beach and trails … kayak or paddleboard the calm waters of the Sheboygan River and marina … learn to surf (fall is Sheboygan’s peak surf season!) … relax with a spa treatment … shop … read on your balcony … bike Sheboygan’s trails … visit John Michael Kohler Arts Center … sneak sweet treats at Shoreline Café.
